The following facilities are available.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Media Centre<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Audio-Visual Centre<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Lecture Capturing System (LCS)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Mixing equipment and software for editing<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>1. Media Center \u2013 Drusya<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2018DRUSYA\u2019 Studio at campus assists faculty in integrating Audio Visual and Instructional technologies in regular teaching. Centre facilitates provision for educational video recording and webcasting\/live streaming, technical assistance for e-content development and online hosting. DRUSYA, the Media Center is equipped with the following hardware to assist in recording lectures and creating e-content:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Equipment available<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>High Resolution SONY Handycam Video Recorder<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Digital still cameras<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Computers and Laptops<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Photo and video editing software<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Audio Equipment<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>External Hard Disk Drives for Archiving all recorded data<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Digital Display Units<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Webcams<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Microphone<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Pointers and Clickers<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>LCD Projector and Screens<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Visualizer<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Green Screen<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>An online repository of Content created through Drusya can be accessed at:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.stannscollegehyd.com\/videos.htm\">www.stannscollegehyd.com\/\/videos.htm<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Audio Visual Centre<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Multiple seminar halls, classrooms, and Laboratories have been outfitted with Projectors and Sound systems to facilitate the use of audio-visual material in regular teaching.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Departments also use classrooms equipped with Wi-Fi enabled smart boards.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>3. Lecture Capturing System<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Hardware facilities at the dedicated Media Center \u2013 Drusya are used for capturing lectures and creating e-Content.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>To create E-content, Faculty use open-source software such as OBS Studio, screencasting tools such as Camtasia and Screen CastOMatic, and web services such as Zoom and Youtube Streaming.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>4. Mixing Equipment and Software for Editing<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Drusya employs a variety of feature-rich editing software to enable the creation of effective c<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>FOSS tools such as KdenLive, OpenShot, VidCutter, ShotCut, and Windows Movie Maker are used<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>These software\u2019s help in multitrack video editing, adding and editing elements like 2D text, performing color corrections and audio adjustments and incorporating transitions.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>5. Open source tools<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Screencast-O-Matic, OpenCV and Simple Screen Recorder, Nimbus an open source software is used by the institution for recording and processing audio\/video content.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The Statistics Department uses R programming, Excel, licensed SPSS Tool for the statistical project work.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The department of computer science uses Anaconda, Jupyter Notebook, Python, Java, matplotlib, Numpy, Pandas, and online compilers like C, C++, Oracle to complete lab programmes and to create real-world applications<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The Department of Chemistry and Computer Science use Moodle, a free and learning management system (LMS)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>OpenOffice and LibreOffice are office suites used by computer science department for creating and editing documents, presentations, and spreadsheets.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Multisim tool used by Department of Physics and Electronics for teaching electronic circuits to gain practical experience with circuit design and analysis.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>All departments use Postermywall and Canva to generate a brochure, PowerPoint, animation files, etc.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Canvas used by physical science departments to upload the course materials and student
