The institution\u2019s IT policy design constitutes the use of IT resources for both academic and administrative works. A committed and supportive ICT team with programmers and networking professionals handle and maintain technical-related issues. The IT facilities have undergone significant upgrades over the past few years.<\/strong><\/p>\n

LAN<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n
    \n
  • Structured network cabling is in place to manage the network<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • The campus networked through LAN and the internet is 1GBPS<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • The Institution has gigabit switches with 1 GBPS<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • All the computer labs are equipped with 100\/1000 switches<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • All access points support 100+ concurrent users with 2G\/5G bandwidth<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Wi-Fi Connectivity is through access points from a centralized access controller<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Wi-Fi speeds of 300-400 Mbps available at each access point<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    Wi-Fi<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n

    • The Wi-Fi is updated to 1000Mbps in the year 2022-23<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • 40Mbps leased line upgraded to 100Mbps entirely for the Examination branch.<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Wi-Fi connectivity includes a 40 Mbps leased line from ACT exclusively for IQAC and Administration offices.<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • To reach out to more users additional Wi-Fi access points have been installed. Old cables replaced with Fibre optic cables as per need.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      Cyber Security<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n
        \n
      • Cyber Security of campus is enabled via antivirus software through a central server.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
      • Software upgrades and installation of new software are executed to cater to the requirements of new programs and research.<\/strong><\/li>\n
      • Firewall mechanism is provided for departments and faculty to raise service requests for troubleshooting any device-related issues.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        Upgrades in Management Information System<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n
          \n
        • Management information system is integral to the functioning of the institution.<\/strong><\/li>\n
        • It is a central data repository capable of collecting, organizing, analyzing, and protecting data.<\/strong><\/li>\n
        • Contains the details of the modules of faculty, Administrative Staff, Support & Auxiliary Staff, Student data, Circulars and Publications.<\/strong><\/li>\n
        • In the Academic year 2022-23, two new menu options were added to the existing MIS- patents and awards<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
          The Learning Management System (SALMS) Module provides the following functionality<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n

          • Ann\u2019s Learning Management System (LMS) app is a comprehensive and efficient platform to manage and post educational content.<\/strong><\/li>\n
          • Helps students, instructors facilitating access to course materials like notes, PPTs, assignments, reading materials, uploading videos and other e \u2013 contents<\/strong><\/li>\n
          • Enables faculty to create, organize, assess coursework, track student progress and provide feedback.<\/strong><\/li>\n
          • Assist administrative tasks and improves the learning experience<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
            \u00a0Students can access the following features through the College App<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n

            • Attendance<\/strong><\/li>\n
            • Download grade card<\/strong><\/li>\n
            • Payment of fee<\/strong><\/li>\n
            • Receive reading materials, assignments, and grades.<\/strong><\/li>\n
            • Provide feedback to the faculty<\/strong><\/li>\n
            • Timetable<\/strong><\/li>\n
            • Events<\/strong><\/li>\n
            • College Website<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
              Other Upgrades in the IT facilities<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n

              • The college website is easily accessible to the students through their mobile devices as an Android App.<\/strong><\/li>\n
              • The Version 2 College App was released in 2023 available on Android<\/strong><\/li>\n
              • 3 Apps \u2013 1 student, 1 faculty, and 1 placement<\/strong><\/li>\n
              • The Alumni Mobile App and Portal to connect with Alumni<\/strong><\/li>\n
              • Zoom account from 2020 for online classes, Webinars, Competitions, Meetings and Gsuite account for official communications<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
